The unique way in which Wax Digital web3 solutions are architected means they can be configured to accommodate highly bespoke requirements, and we work closely alongside our clients to understand their business and technology goals, developing a project programme to address their requirements precisely. So we can readily accommodate the fundamentally different business processes that are essential in delivering successful procurement projects to complex organisations as diverse as Network Rail, Comet, the NHS, Xerox and Center Parcs.

But while the business processes may differ widely, the basic principles remain the same – in every case we are delivering web-based solutions for collaboration, giving internal users the tools to work in concert on everything from PO approvals to invoice query resolution and facilitating close collaboration with external stakeholders, typically large supplier communities. Integration also plays a vital part, and Wax Digital’s unique enterprise service bus and dedicated Integration Services team facilitate seamless interfacing into often complex back-office environments.

Those same principles can equally be applied to the delivery of aligned system requirements, and we have worked extensively with our client base to extend the scope of our solutions. Just as with our procurement solutions, we are asked to enhance the functionality and improve the interface to the incumbent ERP system(s) because we can deliver rapid deployment, exceptional flexibility, a highly intuitive user interface and significant cost savings versus the ERP alternative.

Project examples include:

  • Identity Management: Providing control and audit for user access rights to business systems across the enterprise, integrating with multiple back-office systems to automate many of the processes involved in managing a 3,000 strong employee community .
  • Site Returns: Extending a P2P solution to allow remote store staff to record takings, banking activity, employee hours, and all the information necessary to generate a local P&L through an intuitive web interface, integrated with the central ERP system.
  • Customer Portal: Presenting more than 3 million historical transaction records online, allowing customers to self-serve account queries rather than contact a manned call centre.
  • Integration Gateway: Facilitating electronic document exchange between client ERP systems and customers in more than 20 countries, enabling communications in any format and by any communications protocol.
